Since the start of the pandemic until now, 418,645 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus have been confirmed in Romania.
295,148 patients were declared cured.
After the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, there were 5,837 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19), these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.
To date, 10,047 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.
Between 21.11.2020 (10:00) and 22.11.2020 (10:00) it was reported 131 deaths (69 men and 62 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Arges, Bacau, Bihor, Bistrita-Nasaud, Botosani, Braila, Brasov, Caras-Severin, Constanta, Covasna, Dambovita hospitals , Dolj, Galati, Harghita, Ialomita, Iasi, Maramures, Mehedinti, Mures, Prahova, Sibiu, Salaj, Suceava, Teleorman, Timis, Valcea, Vaslui and Vrancea.
Of these, 2 deaths were recorded in the age category 40 to 49 years, 10 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 32 deaths in the age category 60 to 69 years, 56 deaths in the age category of age 70 to 79 years. years and 31 deaths in the category over 80 years.
125 of the registered deaths were of some patients who presented comorbidities, 4 deceased patients did not present comorbidities and for 2 deceased patients, no comorbidities have been reported to date.
In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 13,492. Of these, 1,174 are hospitalized in ATI.
To date, 3,898,743 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 20,790 were performed in the last 24 hours, 13,258 based on case definition and medical protocol and 7,532 upon request.
In Romania, 47,525 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated in their homes and 12,587 people are in institutionalized isolation. In addition, 74,922 people are quarantined at home, and there are 15 people in institutionalized quarantine.
In the last 24 hours, 3,588 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112.
As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on November 21 of this year, 7,208 misconduct sanctions, amounting to 1,175,680 lei.
Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, 3 crimes were found yesterday to frustrate the fight against diseases, the deed provided for and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.
We remind the public that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where infractions to sanitary protection regulations can be notified.
The calls are handled by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for verification of the notified aspects.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, it was confirmed that 6,864 Romanian citizens were infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,935 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,018 in Germany, 167 in Great Britain, 36 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the US, 123 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 93 in Greece, 10 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 8 in the United Arab Emirates and one in Argentina,
Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Republic of the Congo, Qatar, Vatican, Portugal and Egypt. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 126 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of the Congo and one in Greece, they have died.
Of the Romanian citizens confirmed as infected by the new coronavirus, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.

The largest number of new cases was reported on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. GCS reported no fewer than 10,269 infections in 24 hours.
Most of the ATI patients were registered on November 16. 1,187 Romanians were in intensive care at that time.
The highest number of deaths was broadcast on November 11 (203).
Worldwide, more than 1.3 million people have died from the coronavirus to date.
