The message posted on Facebook by Tudorache, after leaving the DNA hearings:
- “No matter how unpleasant this topic is, I promised to keep you informed about the investigation.
- Last night they summoned me to DNA, where I stayed for more than 12 hours, asking for explanations for alleged events more than 12 years ago.
- I did not avail myself of the right to silence, because, as I said, I have nothing to hide. I trust in Justice and I will actively contribute to discovering the truth.
- However, I cannot help but wonder: what requires such urgency, in the case of the alleged events of 2008 ??? Now, 2 weeks before the parliamentary elections!
- However, I refuse to enter the field of speculation, although the temptation is great … ”.
Daniel Tudorache ranks second, after Dr. Alexandru Rafila, on the PSD Bucharest list in the Chamber of Deputies, in the December 6 elections.
In the same case, a criminal proceeding was also ordered against his ex-wife and a natural person from the mayor’s entourage, for complicity in money laundering, respectively influence peddling.
