Forecasters updated the forecast for the next few days on Friday and issued a yellow code warning of moderate snowfall, targeting 11 counties. The warning goes into effect on Friday at 8:00 p.m. and is valid until Saturday noon. Meteorologists also announce that the climate is cooling by this time, with negative minimum temperatures in all regions.

Forecasters announce that from Friday night to Saturday noon it will snow in most of the western and southern Carpathians, News.ro reports.

“The new layer of snow deposited locally will be consistent. From the second part of the night from Friday to Saturday (20/21 November) and in the first part of Saturday (November 21) in the south and southwest of Transylvania, the Precipitation will be mainly in the form of snow and a layer of snow will be deposited, ”the meteorologists reported.
The yellow code is valid for 11 counties: Alba, Argeş, Braşov, Cluj, Caraş-Severin, Dâmboviţa, Gorj, Hunedoara, Sibiu, Sălaj and Vâlcea.

Until Saturday afternoon, the precipitation and wind information is still current.

“At the end of the week, the weather will turn cold for this time, with negative minimum temperatures in all regions,” the meteorologists also said.
