Two other towns in Ilfov County will be quarantined, starting today at 10:00 p.m., following the large increase in the number of COVID-19 infections. These are the towns of Chiajna and Bragadiru.
The quarantine order for the two towns will be signed today by Raed Arafat, Secretary of State for the Interior Ministry.
The decision comes as a consequence of the increase in coronavirus cases.
Thus, the incidence of cases per thousand inhabitants in the last two weeks is 10.31 in Chiajna and 9.48 in Bragadiru.
Previously, the towns of Clinceni and Berceni were quarantined on Thursday night, starting at 10:00 p.m., for a period of 14 days. The measure was proposed by the Ilfov County Committee for Emergency Situations.
Also, the town of Ciorogarla is under quarantine, and the measure will expire on November 26.
