Hellish conditions in Cugir hospital

“I have been positive since October 10 and tested negative on November 18. 38 long, hard, sometimes hellish days. After a week of treatment in Cugir in which I treated pneumonia and took antivirals, I asked to go home in isolation, even though I tested positive. I read everywhere that in 14 days the virus passes. I had some reason in asking to leave because for contagious people in Cugir, the conditions are absolutely hellish. Miserable living rooms and bathrooms (I mean the equipment and state, not cleaning), beds so uncomfortable that it was as if they were telling you at night to beat the meat a little, musiu! ”, says the man.

After three days of isolation in his home, he developed a fever and arrived at UPU Alba. “I called 112 and the rescue arrived with oxygen and took me to the hospital, to Cugir. And from there, at the UPU of the Hospital Comarcal de Alba. The difference between the County Hospital and the Cugir Hospital is indescribable. At UPU it is like a production hall. Serious team. All staff move as on a break. Professionalism. That was my impression. Ion Dumitrel found out about my illness and spoke in intensive care. This OM talked to the doctors every day, he was interested in having the best treatment, he wrote me messages of encouragement every day. Without him, he was right! Together with Hațegan Marius and Alexandru Peres, they showed me what friends mean. Old, real ”.

“That was my salvation!”

Then come some cruel episodes: “On October 24 at 6 in the afternoon I was in an isolation room, on a transfer from the UPU to ATI. At 7:30 p.m. he had to come and take me to connect me to oxygen in ATI and start treatment with antibiotics and antivirals ”.

They started! Cold claws began to suffocate me. Take your breath away. He was sure he would not escape. But I had received a message from the boy that he was thinking of me and was afraid of me. At that hour when the claws were clenching my neck mercilessly, I repeated in one: Flavius, Flavius, Flavius. Almost unconscious! I managed to resist until they tied me to the oxygen device, with the mask all over my face! That was my salvation.

“I was awake for 72 hours. Without eating and without drinking for 48 hours. We have an organism that struggles with the limit, not realizing where so much power comes from. My daughter-in-law, Dr. Ramona Gheorghe, told me that, in fact, 36 critical hours followed. Nervous. Ramona was, along with Ion Dumitrel, one of those who took care of me. Almost three weeks of ATI followed. With long hours in which I stayed and 15 hours a day in infusions. And I looked, little boy, Little, little. It drips and never ends. Message for those who forgot

The disease left deep marks on the body and mind of the man, who seems angry with his friends who did not write anything.

“After these three weeks, I was left with some meat on my hands and feet under my sagging skin. The fallen face. Dry skin due to lack of sun. The mind shook with loneliness. Only for 24 hours. Multiplied by so many days. Luckily, there are people who text me every day. They were interested in how I felt. At one point I wanted him to leave me alone, because everyone asked me: aren’t you better? When you go out And I wasn’t. He didn’t know when to escape! I was the only one who tested positive. I remember these people. Everybody. I erased the rest of my memory, “writes Roșian.

There are some that I thought were friends, but they didn’t give me a message of encouragement. This is how we all are. Friends from the surface. About interest. And some real ones. I will take them into account.
