On Thursday, President Klaus Iohannis enacted a law stipulating that patients insured through the National House of Health Insurance are entitled to free screening investigations.

The normative act has as its object of regulation the modification and finalization of the Law of Patient Rights no. 46/2003, in the sense of granting the right to patients insured through the National House of Health Insurance to benefit, free of charge, from screening investigations at their own request, from the moment the risk group or on the basis of a referral from a specialist.
