The county of Sibiu registers a contagion rate of 9.06 per thousand inhabitants in the last 14 days, slightly higher than the previous day when it had 9.01 per thousand inhabitants.
According to GCS, Cluj County ranks second, with an incidence of 7.64 per thousand inhabitants, compared to Wednesday, when it was 7.52.
Bucharest has an incidence of 5.66 per thousand inhabitants, increasing compared to Wednesday, when it was 5.45.
At the same time, a high infection rate is recorded in Ilfov counties: 6.78; Brasov – 6.4; Timiş: 6.33; Alba: 6.21; Constanta – 5.97; Bihor: 5.8; Arad: 5.79; Sălaj – 5.36.
The municipalities with a low incidence of infection cases per thousand inhabitants, in the last two weeks, are Olt – 1.74; Vrancea – 1.79 and Gorj – 1.82.
Most cases in the last 24 hours
More than 300 cases were registered in Sibiu – 361 and Timiş – 363 counties, and more than 200 new cases in Alba, Arad, Bacău, Braşov, Dâmboviţa, Hunedoara and Neamţ.
The fewest cases were recorded in Gorj – 41 and Vrancea – 56 counties.

In total, 10,108 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 were reported, compared to the last report, following tests conducted at the national level.
Counties with the highest number of infections
Most cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection have been registered, so far, in Bucharest – 54,603 and in the counties of Cluj – 17,689, Iasi – 16,378, Timis – 16,218, Prahova – 16,038, Brasov – 15,313, reports : Thursday, Strategic Communication Group.
In Constance county there were 12,405 cases, more than 11,000 in Suceava counties – 11,902, Bihor – 11,865, Ilfov – 11,661, Sibiu – 11,452 and Bacău – 11,243, and more than 10,000 in Argeş counties – 10,942, Dolj – 10,327 and Mureş -10,032.
As of Thursday, 393,851 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus were confirmed in Romania. A total of 269,590 people were declared cured.
