Disaster caused by a Romanian driving in the wrong direction, on a highway in Germany

A 32-year-old Romanian caused a terrible accident on a motorway in Germany, near Munich, after driving the wrong way, down the middle lane of a motorway.

The car driven by the Romanian collided violently with another car and the four people involved in the impact were killed. According to merkur.de, there was another 50-year-old Romanian citizen in the car that caused the accident, and in the second car there were two German citizens.

The accident occurred on Tuesday night, on the A99 motorway and, according to the cited source, before it happened, several drivers called the emergency number to announce that a car was traveling in the opposite direction. However, after the impact, the police squad arrived and went to the indicated area.

Several trucks and even a helicopter intervened at the crash site, but none of the victims could be rescued. Investigators say none of the drivers had used alcohol or drugs.
