The Mayor General of the Capital, Nicusor Dan, declared that there are currently no delays in the epidemiological investigations carried out by the Public Health Directorate at the Bucharest Municipality level, after 200 Hospital Administration employees were assigned to DSP .

“Regarding the health crisis, we assigned 200 people from the Hospital Administration to the DSP. DSP had neither material nor human resources to meet the demands. We organized 270 positions in the National Stadium, of which 200 with people from the Hospital Administration (ASSMB) and 70 in alliance with the Faculty of Medicine. The STS and the Prefect’s Institution have contributed much to this issue and at the moment there are no delays in epidemiological investigations. It is very important that people who are at risk of contaminating other people are notified from the first moment, that they are isolated. So that there are no more delays in epidemiological investigations, “said Nicusor Dan, at a press conference held at the PMB headquarters, according to Agerpres.

He mentioned that another 40 people were also transferred from the Hospital Administration to the Bucharest-Ilfov Ambulance.

“There was a problem in Salvare, because they were carrying out their current activity and the test activity, and by supporting these 40 people, who, together with the Salvare assigned personnel, do the tests, the Bucharest-Ilfov Ambulance activity He was relieved and there are no more problems here. 50 people were also assigned to help DSP Ilfov, which has Otopeni airport and had the same problem in epidemiological investigations. We have agreements, with decisions, for the situation where it would be needed quarantine, so this problem is solved, ”said Nicuşor Dan.

The mayor general said that a problem that the municipality is currently facing is the supplementation of intensive care beds. Nicuşor Dan specified that he will soon release the result of the measures taken in this regard.
