Two women and a man were taken to the Giurgiu Court Prosecutor’s Office, on the night of Tuesday, November 17, in the case of the woman found on fire, on the outskirts of Ghimpati.

The information was confirmed by judicial sources for ProTV News.

According to the cited sources, it is about two women who practice prostitution, while the man is a pimp.

All three allegedly told investigators that the victim had drunk an insecticide and that they had, in fact, attempted to resuscitate her, thus explaining the broken ribs.

After seeing that the woman died, they put her body in a bag and took her to the outskirts of Ghimpati, where they set her on fire.

According to investigators, Ghimpati’s victim allegedly had a stab wound, which the three suspects could not explain, as well as traces of semen.

A week ago, Giurgiu investigators made public the identity of the woman who was killed and set on fire on the edge of DN 6.

The victim is Mihaela-Sabina Mircea, 32, of Buftea, Ilfov County.

So far, prosecutors have said they have heard from more than 100 people, from different victim circles, about various working hypotheses. There are suspicions, but there are no suspects at the moment.
