On Saturday night, at around 6.30 pm, at the Piatra Neamţ County Emergency Hospital, a fire broke out that affected the ATI department where 17 patients were hospitalized in two wards.
The patients admitted to the ATI Department were COVID-19 patients.
ISU Neamţ spokeswoman Irina Popa said that 10 people died as a result of the fire and another seven are in critical condition, including the doctor on duty.
