Deputy Prime Minister Raluca Turcan announces that at the level of some of the Sibiu County public institutions, leadership changes have been made. Turcan mentions the change of county deputy prefect, the resignation of the director of the DSP and says he is awaiting the resignation of the manager of the County Emergency Hospital.
“Institutions must act and inspire trust, especially in the hospital. When a person looks at the local hospital, he should be urged to act early and not get to a very serious stage. That is why the measures (…) left the dismissal of the sub-prefect of the Sibiu county who was in charge in the last 2 weeks, a period in which more efficiency could be achieved, I also received the resignation of the director of DSP Sibiu and I am also awaiting the resignation of the manager of the County Emergency Hospital. I say this precisely because we want to rectify the situation in Sibiu county and there is no leniency when it comes to the functioning of these institutions to save lives, “the deputy prime minister said on Friday.

He added that the Government responded to all requests for support made by health institutions in Sibiu.
“So, see if more could be done, see if this support has been requested,” Turcan said in this context.
Turcan explained that 1,200 million euros have been allocated to sanitary equipment.
“Nothing is above human health and for that we must all be supportive and efficient,” explained the deputy prime minister.
