Following nationwide testing, compared to the last report, 9,489 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

The coefficient of accumulated infections at 14 days, reported per 1,000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Public Health Directorates, at the municipal and county levels of Bucharest.

Apart from the recently confirmed cases, after reassessment of the patients who were already positive, 2,358 people were positively reconfirmed.

To date, 8,684 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

Between 12.11.2020 (10:00) – 13.11.2020 (10:00) 174 deaths (100 men and 74 women) were reported, of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Argeş, Arad, Bucharest, Bacau, Bihor, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Brăila, Botoşani, Braşov, Călăraşi, Caraş-Severin, Constanţa, Dâmboviţa, Dolj, Gorj, Galaţi, Harghita, Ilfov, Ialomiţa, Iaşi, Mehedşamţa, Timşiăi, Mehedşamţa, Maşiăi, Mehedşamţa, Maşiăi Sucea, Sceava , Teleorman, Vrancea and Vaslui.

Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age group of 20 to 29 years, 1 death was recorded in the age category of 30 to 39 years, 5 deaths in the age category of 40 to 49 years, 18 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 39 deaths in the age category 60 to 69 years, 66 deaths in the age category 70 to 79 years and 44 deaths in the category over 80 years.

168 of the registered deaths were of some patients who presented comorbidities and 6 deceased patients did not present comorbidities.

In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 12,892. Of these, 1,149 are hospitalized in ATI.

The infection rate in Bucharest once again exceeded 5 per thousand inhabitants. However, two regions exceeded the rate of 6 per thousand and two exceeded 7 per thousand inhabitants.

To date, 3,630,856 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 37,136 were performed in the last 24 hours, 22,169 based on the case definition and medical protocol and 14,967 upon request.

In Romania, 47,681 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated at home and 13,141 people are in institutional isolation. In addition, 78,569 people are in home quarantine and 19 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

In the last 24 hours, 4,556 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 831 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially to inform the public.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on November 12 of this year, 8,778 penalties for minor offenses, amounting to 1,418,195 lei.

Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday 3 crimes were found to frustrate the fight against diseases, a fact foreseen and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.

We remind the public that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where infractions to sanitary protection regulations can be notified.

The calls are answered by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified aspects.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, it was confirmed that 6,862 Romanian citizens were infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,934 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,018 in Germany, 167 in the Kingdom United, 36 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the US, 123 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus 93 in Greece, 9 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 8 in the United Arab Emirates and one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Republic of the Congo, Qatar , Vatican, Portugal and Egypt. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 126 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of Congo and one in Greece, they have died.

Of the Romanian citizens confirmed as infected by the new coronavirus, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
