The executive approved two government decisions on the new national standards for internal and external evaluation, respectively the new external evaluation methodology of ARACIP, the Minister of Education and Research, Monica Anisie, announced on Thursday.

Monica Anisie affirms that digitization plays “a key role in this whole process” – currently, the entire external evaluation process can be done online and, through the new methodology, there will be an obligation in this regard.
Students do not give thesis this year
Minister Monica Anisie said Saturday that theses will no longer be done this school year, but will instead be replaced by another form of evaluation.
“Regarding the defense of the theses, after the consultation I had with all the factors involved, I decided that they will not be supported this school year,” said the Minister of Education, Mónica Anisie.
The thesis annulment measure arises after the ministry decided to suspend the Olympic Games and school competitions: “Let’s not forget that theses are defended in only two or three disciplines, otherwise the summative evaluation is carried out. So, the theses are not defended, but they have been replaced by summative evaluation ”, underlined the Minister of Education.
