A 33-year-old man was detained by DIICOT after he was caught carrying various types of drugs. More than 12,700 lei and 300 lev were found on the defendant, which according to law enforcement officers came from high-risk, high-risk drug trafficking. After the house search, the police discovered significant amounts of drugs and more than 1,700,000 lei.
DIICOT prosecutors together with BCCO Bucharest judicial police officers acted in operation “LA BANDERA”. They succeeded in arresting one of the most important high-risk and high-risk drug traffickers who distributed in exclusive areas of Bucharest.
The operation took place during the night of November 9, 2020, by organizing a complex action in the Baneasa – Pipera – Otopeni area, on which occasion the defendant was captured red-handed, within the city of Otopeni, Ilfov, while It was transporting, ready for sale, 20 grams of cocaine, 59 ecstasy pills, 150 grams of cannabis and 15 grams of hashish.
More than 12,700 lei and 300 levs were found on the defendant, believed to be derived from drug trafficking.
After the home search carried out at the home of the accused in Otopeni, 17 kilograms of cannabis, almost 4,000 ecstasy pills, 10 grams of amphetamine, almost 1,700,000 lei and more than 4,000 euros, money from drug trafficking were found.
The Bucharest court ordered the preventive detention of the accused, for a period of 30 days.
