The judges of the Cluj Court ordered, by ruling published on Thursday 12 November, the obligation of Prime Minister Ludovic Orban to bear a fine for the unjustified refusal to execute a final judicial decision.

The case concerns Zoltan Gyorke, a senior official who won in court, in July 2020, reinstatement to the post of deputy prefect of Cluj County. Through the final ruling, the Cluj Court of Appeals established on July 16 that Gyorke was illegally appointed, through the application of mobility, in the public position of government inspector, shows Napocalive.ro.

Because the reinstatement decision was not carried out, Zoltan Gyorke filed a new lawsuit in which he complained to Prime Minister Ludovic Orban. The Cluj Court announced on Thursday, November 12, the first sentence, which can be appealed.
