After a test in which they prepared different types of amuse-bouche for the rally drivers, the competitors of season 8 of the show “Chefs in knives” eagerly awaited the verdict. The emotions were great, especially since the tasting started with the left, because the plates of the tape “collided” like in a car race! In the end, the votes designated Sorin Bontea as the winner, and the teams led by Florin Dumitrescu and Cătălin Scarlătescu entered the duel.
At this stage of the 30th edition of season 8 of the show “Chefs with knives”, the chefs had the difficult task of preparing the dishes in which the star ingredient was the egg. After sixty minutes, the test ended and Sorin Bontea, Cătălin Scărlătescu and Florin Dumitrescu tasted each dish, awarding points. In the end, Gina Pistol met again with the two teams and with the “Chefs on Knives” juries and announced the verdict.
Of all the plates, the ones that obtained the least points were those prepared by Robert Vasiliu (Ragnar Vikingul) and Romică Romașcu, the latter being the one eliminated from the competition, obtaining after voting only 5 points for their preparation.
Scarlet’s unexpected decision
Cătălin Scărlătescu had an unexpected decision in which he gave Romică Romașcu the opportunity to remain in the competition, using one of the charms won in the auditions. “Did you leave without saying anything, without saying goodbye?” Asked Cătălin Scarlătescu.
“I worked hard during the auditions to win as many charms as possible. They help me stick with my strategy. Unfortunately, today you put me in the position of wearing a charm. This is not an easy time. If I cooked well today I shouldn’t use it here. I have an amulet that says I can save an eliminated man by replacing him with another member of the team. I cannot give you up. You are dear to me, very dear to me, “said Cătălin Scarlătescu.

To everyone’s surprise, Romică Romașcu replied that she does not want to stay, if this means replacing her with another colleague. Thus, at the end of the 30th edition of season 8 of the “Chefs with knives” program, Cătălin Scărlătescu said goodbye to Romică Romașcu.
