Actor Vladimir Găitan, 73, died, the announcement was made, on Tuesday night, by his colleague Vlad Rădescu.
Actor Vlad Rădescu announced on Facebook Tuesday night the fact that the great actor Vladimir Gaitan died. He passed away at home.
“Vladimir Gaitán went further and left Romanian theater and cinema, all of us, much more alone … Condolences to the family that is going through such difficult times. Goodbye, Duțu! ”Vlad Rădescu wrote.

Actor Vladimir Gaitan, 73, was one of the elites of Romanian theater. In 2002, he received the “National Order of Faithful Service, in the rank of Knight”, for his devotion and artistic grace.
The actor has suffered from an incurable disease for years.

Vladimir Gaitan was one of the most appreciated Romanian actors, and audiences know him especially from the movie “The Last Night of Love, the First Night of the War.” For almost half a century he acted on the stage of the great theaters of Romania, but also in films loved by the general public.
“I filmed a lot, with various production companies, and now recently with the teams … we have very good production companies that act for foreigners,” the actor told Digi24 in 2015.
Vladimir Gaitan was born in a small mountain village in Suceava.
