Since the beginning of the pandemic until now, 314,295 cases of people infected by the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed in Romania.
211,408 patients were declared cured.
After the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, there were 7,304 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.
To date, 8,186 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.
Between 09.11.2020 (10:00) – 10.11.2020 (10:00) 177 deaths were reported (92 men and 85 women), of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Arges, Bacau, Bihor, Bistrita-Nasaud, Botosani, Brasov, Buzau, Calarasi, Caras-Severin, Constanta, Covasna, Dambovita, Gorj, Harghita, Ialomita, Iasi, Maramures, Mehedinti, Olt, Prahova, Salaj, Satu-Mare, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Timis, Tulcea, Valcea, Vaslui, Vrancea, Ilfov and Bucharest.
Of these, 3 deaths were recorded in the age group 30 to 39 years, 6 deaths in the age category 40 to 49 years, 12 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 47 deaths in the age category age 60 to 69 years, 67 deaths in the age group 70 to 79 years and 42 deaths in the category over 80 years.
160 of the registered deaths are of some patients who presented comorbidities, and so far no comorbidities of 17 deceased patients have been reported.
In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 12,727. Of these, 1,093 are hospitalized in ATI.
To date, 3,519,095 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 31,005 were performed in the last 24 hours, 18,988 based on the definition of the case and medical protocol and 12,017 upon request.
In Romanian territory, 41,272 people confirmed with the infection by the new coronavirus are isolated in their homes and 12,767 people are in institutionalized isolation. In addition, 81,518 people are quarantined at home, and there are 19 people in institutionalized quarantine.
In the last 24 hours, 5,031 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 1,234 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially to inform citizens.
As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on November 9 of this year, 7,927 misconduct sanctions, amounting to 1,111,531 lei.
Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday 4 crimes were found to frustrate the fight against diseases, the deed provided for and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.
We remind the public that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where violations of health protection regulations can be notified.
The calls are answered by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified aspects.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, it was confirmed that 6,862 Romanian citizens were infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,934 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,018 in Germany, 167 in the Kingdom United Kingdom, 36 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the United States, 123 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus 93 in Greece, 9 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 8 in the United Arab Emirates and one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Republic of the Congo, Qatar , Vatican, Portugal and Egypt. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 126 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of the Congo and one in Greece, they have died.
Of the Romanian citizens confirmed infected by the new coronavirus, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.

The highest number of daily cases to date was reported on November 6, 2020. No fewer than 10,260 new infections have been recorded in 24 hours.
On October 23, the largest number of tests was carried out: 41,238, in 24 hours.
The highest number of deaths was recorded on November 4, 2020. Later, the authorities transmitted that 146 Romanians died from the coronavirus.
The largest number of patients admitted to the Intensive Care Units (1,076) was reported on November 9, 2020.
In the world, more than 51 million people have been confirmed with the new coronavirus. Another 1.3 million died from COVID-19.
Of the more than 13.9 million active cases, more than 93,000 patients are in serious condition.
The worst affected nations in the world are the United States, India and Brazil.
