After the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, there were 3,240 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19), these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.
Distinguished from newly confirmed cases, upon retesting of already positive patients, 991 people were positively reconfirmed.

How many tests have been processed in the last 24 hours
To date, at the national level, there have been 3,488,090 tests. Of these, 11,445 were carried out in the last 24 hours, 7,286 based on the case definition and medical protocol and 4,159 upon request.

Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus infection, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.

Romania has exceeded the threshold of 300,000 people infected with Covid-19
Romania surpassed the threshold of 300,000 people infected with Covid-19 on Sunday, after registering a new balance of 6,752 new cases.
The latest record was set on Friday, November 6, when 10,260 new Covid-19 illnesses were recorded.
Counties where the incidence of Covid-19 cases exceeded 6 per thousand inhabitants
The incidence of Covid-19 cases exceeded the threshold of 6 per thousand inhabitants in three regions, according to the Strategic Communication Group.
The Romanian county most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic is Sălaj, where the highest infection rate is recorded: 6.51 cases per thousand inhabitants.
In second place is the county of Cluj, which has a cumulative incidence of 6.41 cases per thousand inhabitants.
The third county that has exceeded the threshold of 6 is Timiș: 6.21 cases per thousand inhabitants.
On the other hand, the counties with a low incidence of infection cases per thousand inhabitants, in the last two weeks, are Olt – 1.4, Tulcea – 1.42 and Vrancea – 1.47.
The list of new restrictions valid from today in all Romania
The new restrictions came into effect on Monday, at 00:00, the most important being the restriction of night traffic, when people must file the declaration on their own responsibility, but also the closure of markets and the transition of schools in Romania to the red stage.

Also starting at midnight, the mask became mandatory in all enclosed spaces, but also outdoors, regardless of the number of Covid 19 cases registered in the area. Only children under the age of 5 are exempt.
