Here’s What Joe Biden Needs To Get Georgia Electoral Votes – 2020 US Elections

As President Trump’s advance in Georgia slows, CNN estimates that “enough votes remain for Joe Biden to return.”

CNN’s David Chalian reported a “rough estimate” of 185,000 unspoken votes in Georgia. “Joe Biden would need between 65% and 67% of the uncountable 185,000 votes to surpass Donald Trump and overturn the calculations in the state of Georgia,” Chalian said.

Donald Trump, on the other hand, needs just 31% and 33% of the 185,000 votes to hold on to Georgia and continue the race.

Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said Wednesday afternoon that there are still uncountable 185,000 ballots in Georgia. Some districts with pending votes have told CNN they will finish counting tonight, while others are expected to continue until tomorrow.

There are 16 electoral votes at stake in Georgia; 270 electoral votes are needed to assume the presidency. Currently, Biden has 253 electoral votes, while Trump has 213 votes.

Trump’s advance in Georgia fell to about 47,000 votes. Currently, Trump is just 1% ahead of Biden, with about 230,000 votes to centralize.
