The municipalities of Gherla and Zalău, as well as several towns in Cluj, Timiş and Sălaj counties will be quarantined on Thursday, for a period of 14 days, the Strategic Communication Group announced on Wednesday evening. The zonal quarantine order was signed by Secretary of State Raed Arafat, at the suggestion of the County Committees for Emergency Situations in the three counties. In Cluj, Timiş and Sălaj the incidence exceeded 5 per thousand inhabitants.
Quarantined locations:
– gherla from Cluj County;
– Becicherecu Mic, Dudeștii Noi, Dumbrăviţa, Fibiş, Ghiroda, Giroc, New old, Pesac, from Timiș County;
– Zalau, Cehu Silvaniei, Jibou of the county of Sălaj.
The zonal quarantine will be established as of tomorrow, November 5 and is valid for 14 days.
On Wednesday, the county of Timiș exceeded the infection rate of 5 per thousand inhabitants and thus joins the counties of Cluj and Sălaj, which are already at this level.
According to the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) report, on Wednesday, Timiș County has an infection rate of 5.04.
The infection rate decreased in Cluj from 5.08 to 5.04 and that of Sălaj County increased from 5.2 to 5.5.
