COVID-19 – November 4: 146 new deaths
Between 03.11.2020 (10:00) – 04.11.2020 (10:00) were reported 146 deaths (77 men and 69 women), of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeş, Bacău, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Botoşani, Brăila, Braşov, Buzău, Călăraşi, Caraş-Severin, Constanţa, Dâmboviţa, Dolj , Galaţi, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Ialomiţa, Iaşi, Mehedinţi, Mureş, Prahova, Suceava, Timiş, Tulcea, Vaslui, Vrancea, Ilfov and Bucharest.
- Of these, there was one death in the age group 20 to 29 years, 7 deaths in the age category 40 to 49 years, 13 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 26 deaths in the age category age 60 to 49 years. 69 years, 51 deaths in the age group 70 to 79 years and 48 deaths in the category over 80 years.
- 138 of the deaths registered were of some patients who presented comorbidities, 4 deceased patients did not present comorbidities and for 4 deceased patients, no comorbidities have been reported so far.
1,001 people are hospitalized in ATI
In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 11,867. Of these, 1,001 are hospitalized in ATI.
To date, 3,341,867 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 35,964 were performed in the last 24 hours, 21,808 according to the definition of the case and the medical protocol and 14,156 upon request.
Likewise, since the last information made by GCS, the results of 594 tests processed before the last 24 hours and transmitted until November 4 have been reported.
- In Romania, 33,630 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are in isolation at home and 11,373 people are in institutional isolation. Additionally, 59,339 people are in home quarantine and 18 people are in institutionalized quarantine.
In the last 24 hours, 3,410 calls to the single emergency number 112 and 1,265 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), open especially to inform citizens.
- As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, police and gendarmes have applied in the last 24 hours 7,062 penalties for minor offenses, which amounts to 930,022 lei.
- Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, it was found, yesterday, 5 crimes to thwart disease control, deed provided for and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.
We remind the public that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where infractions to sanitary protection regulations can be notified.

Of the Romanian citizens confirmed as infected with the new coronavirus, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.

- As of Tuesday, 258,437 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) had been confirmed in Romania and 181,175 patients had been declared cured.
- In the last 24 hours, 7,733 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19).
As of Tuesday, 7,273 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection had died and 120 deaths had been reported in the past 24 hours, including 70 men and 50 women.
