The capital has registered 1,514 new cases of contagion by coronavirus in the last 24 hours and reaches an incidence of infections of 4.24, according to official data transmitted by the Strategic Communication Group.

The most worrying situation at the national level is in Sălaj, which has an incidence of infections, in the last 14 days, of 5.5.

Cluj and Timiș counties also have an incidence of more than 5 – 5.04.

Incidence of infections greater than 4, according to the situation in the last 14 days, was reported in Alba – 4.62, Bihor – 4.37 and Sibiu 4.4.

An incidence of infections greater than 3 was reported in four counties: Arad – 3.64, Dolj – 3.05 Maramureș – 3.15, Mureș – 3.58.

The only county with an incidence less than 1 is Tulcea – 0.99.

Romania registers new negative records in the fight against COVID-19. Only in the last day 8,651 new cases were detected, almost a thousand more than the previous balance, out of a total of 35,964 tests. The number of people who died in 24 hours is the highest yet: 146 deaths, and in intensive care it is also a record number: 1,001 patients.
