Large increase in new coronavirus cases in Romania. New death record. There are more than 1,000 patients in ATI

Romania registers new negative records in the fight against COVID-19. Only in the last day 8,651 new cases were detected, almost a thousand more than the previous balance, out of a total of 35,964 tests. The number of people who died in 24 hours is the highest yet: 146 deaths, and in intensive care it is also a record number: 1,001 patients.

To date, on November 4, in Romania, 267,088 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed. 186,260 patients were declared cured.

Following tests conducted at the national level, compared to the last report, 8,651 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

The coefficient of accumulated infections at 14 days, reported per 1,000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Public Health Directorates, at the municipal and county levels of Bucharest. Here is the table prepared based on the reports received by CNCCI from the Public Health Directorates:

To date, 7,419 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

Between 03.11.2020 (10:00) – 04.11.2020 (10:00) 146 deaths (77 men and 69 women) were reported, of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeș, Bacău, Bistrița-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brăila, Brașov, Buzău, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Constanța, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Galați, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Ialomița, Iațihi, Meurecahediafo and Tulceacea, Meurecahediafo.

Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age group 20 to 29 years, 7 deaths in the age category 40 to 49 years, 13 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 26 deaths in the age category age 60 to 69 years, 51 deaths in the age group 70 to 79 years and 48 deaths in the category over 80 years.

138 of the deaths registered are of some patients who presented comorbidities, 4 deceased patients did not present comorbidities and for 4 deceased patients, no comorbidities have been reported to date.

In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 11,867. Of these, 1,001 are hospitalized in ATI.

To date, 3,341,867 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 35,964 were performed in the last 24 hours, 21,808 based on case definition and medical protocol and 14,156 on request.

Likewise, since the last information made by GCS, the results of 594 tests processed before the last 24 hours and delivered until November 4 have been reported.

In Romania, 33,630 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are in isolation at home and 11,373 people are in institutional isolation. Additionally, 59,339 people are in home quarantine and 18 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

In the last 24 hours, 3,410 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 1,265 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially to inform citizens.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 7,062 penalties for minor offenses, in the amount of 930,022 lei.

Also, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday 5 crimes were found to frustrate the fight against diseases, a fact foreseen and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.

„We remind the public that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where infractions of health protection regulations can be notified. The calls are answered by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified aspects ”, affirms GCS.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, it was confirmed that 6,853 Romanian citizens were infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,934 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,018 in Germany, 159 in the Kingdom United, 36 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the US, 123 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 93 in Greece, 9 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 7 in the United Arab Emirates and one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Republic of the Congo, Qatar , Vatican, Portugal and Egypt.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 126 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of Congo and one in Greece, they have died.

Of the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus infection, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
