Marcel Ciolacu spoke about a “national disaster” that would follow the parliamentary elections. The PSD leader said that due to the economic measures that PNL refuses to take after December 6, “unemployment and an economic collapse will follow.”
Ciolacu specified, on România TV, that the PSD will not repeat the number of the inauguration of the government of Ludovic Orban, when he voted in favor, and announced that the Social Democrats will not govern with the PNL.

“The current government is corrupt and incompetent. We will enter a state of emergency and quarantine again, coherent measures are not taken to stop this trend. There was no prevention. Let us remember how the schools were opened, after a 6-month break. In the campaign electoral will not stop an uptrend, and then after the elections, we will enter a total stalemate.
The standard of living has decreased a lot in Romania, during this period, it will decrease more and more. We do not have large investments, we do not have consumption, because we have not increased pensions, allowances or wages. Unemployment and an economic collapse into which the current government throws us will follow.

USR and PMP showed us that they want elections because they were not in the full Senate and there was no quorum. They will hold elections in any condition, they do not care how many Romanians are going to die, but absolute power. That is what the president wants with his government. I am firmly convinced that Romanians will come out and will not vote with the PNL because it is leading us to a national disaster.
We will not rule with NLP and we will not vote for a NLP government. I voted when there were 100 cases and I saw where it ended, ”said Marcel Ciolacu.
