According to a press release sent by the County Anti-Corruption Service, in this case on Thursday the police executed four search warrants at the home of the two, as well as at the places used by them within the two public institutions in Bârlad.
The employee of the Municipal Emergency Hospital is charged with three crimes of influence peddling and five crimes of fraud, and the employee of the Vaslui County Ambulance Service is charged with four crimes of influence peddling and four crimes of fraud.
According to the researchers, between 2019 and 2020, the two demanded from various people sums of money between 1,000 and 7,000 euros to facilitate their employment in the Bârlad Municipal Emergency Hospital, the Vaslui County Ambulance Service or in educational units. in positions for medical personnel.
The two were arrested and later placed in preventive detention by the Vaslui Court.
