The producer of the program “Apropo TV” received the test result, positive, at the end of this week, before the start of the filming of the new season of the program “Romanians have talent”. After learning the result of the test of the infection by the new coronavirus, Andi Moisescu did not join the filming team and isolated himself, according to the recommendations of the medical authorities.
Andi Moisescu specified that he does not present any symptoms associated with the disease, but decided to isolate himself and interrupt work on ongoing projects.
“At the end of this week I tested positive for Covid-19, so I isolated myself and will take all necessary measures. Right now I don’t have any symptoms, which gives me hope to get through, well, this challenge! Andi Moisescu said.
The PRO TV star has been married to Olivia Steer, one of Romania’s most vehement anti-vaccine activists for several years. Over time, he generated a lot of controversy through his public statements and posts on social media, in which he promoted all kinds of conspiracy theories.
Simona Halep and Codin Maticiuc have the disease
Andi Moisescu is not the only star who announced this weekend that he tested positive for the new coronavirus. Tennis champion Simona Halep also announced that she is sick with COVID-19, in a post on her Twitter account.
“I greet you all, I want to inform you that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I isolated myself at home and I am recovering well, with symptoms of medium intensity. I feel good … and we will spend it together,” the champion wrote on Twitter.
Also, one of Dorobanti’s most famous socialites, Codin Maticiuc, made a similar announcement on her Facebook account. He said he was not the only patient in the family and that the infection had affected his girlfriend and children. Codin Maticiuc wanted to emphasize that the symptoms are mild, only the lack of smell and taste, without fever or cough.
