One of the three doctors infected with coronavirus, who are under criminal investigation for fleeing the hospital in Târgu Jiu, claims that it is all a scam.
Dr. Rodica Dîrnu, one of the three doctors, denies the whole incident. She told Digi24 that everything is an invention.
“They are just inventions, right? We are in the hospital and we are receiving treatment. I have been in the hospital and I am in the hospital,” he said.
Two of the doctors who escaped from the hospital work at ATI and the third is a gastroenterologist.
The three coronavirus-infected doctors who left Târgu Jiu County Hospital were chosen with criminal records for thwarting the fight against diseases. They had been hospitalized for a few days in the Department of Infectious Diseases. The hospital management has launched an investigation.
Everything came to light after a check by the Gorj Public Health Directorate in the Department of Infectious Diseases on Thursday.
The police discovered that they were about three women between the ages of 31 and 55, all from Târgu Jiu, doctors at the Târgu Jiu County Hospital.
The women were found at their home and taken by ambulance to the Oncology Department of the Târgu Jiu County Emergency Hospital.
Checks revealed that they left the medical department where they were hospitalized on Thursday without reporting this.
