After the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, there were 6,546 new cases of infected people with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19), being these cases that have not previously had a positive test.

Between 29.10.2020 (10:00) and 30.10.2020 (10:00) it was reported 103 deaths (64 men and 39 women), of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Bacău, Bihor, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Botoşani, Braşov, Buzău, Călăraşi, Cluj, Constanţa, Dâmboviţa, Dolj, Galaţi, Harghita, Iaşi , Maramureş, Mehedinţi, Mureş, Neamţ, Olt, Prahova, Sălaj, Sibiu, Suceava, Timiş, Tulcea, Vâlcea, Vaslui, Vrancea, Ilfov and Bucharest.

  • Of these, one death was recorded in the age category 30 to 39 years, 3 deaths were recorded in the age category 40 to 49 years, 13 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 30 deaths in the category of age 60-69 years, 30 deaths in the age category 70 to 79 years and 26 deaths in the category over 80 years.
  • 100 of the deaths registered were of patients who presented comorbidities and 3 deceased patients did not present comorbidities.

In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 11,236. Of these, 917 they are hospitalized in ATI.

To date, 3,206,567 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 36,335 were performed in the last 24 hours, 22,342 based on case definition and medical protocol and 13,993 upon request.

  • Likewise, since the last information made by GCS, the results of 254 tests processed before the last 24 hours and transmitted until October 30 have been reported.

On the territory of Romania, 28,762 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated at homeand 11,253 people are in institutional isolation. Too, 53,050 people are quarantined at homeand 15 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

  • In the last 24 hours, 2,988 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 952 of the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially to inform the public.
  • As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, police and gendarmes have applied in the last 24 hours 6939 penalties for minor offenses, which amounts to 952,435 lei.
  • Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, it was found, yesterday, 7 crimes to thwart disease control, deed provided for and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.

We remind the public that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where infractions to sanitary protection regulations can be notified.

The calls are answered by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified aspects.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, 6,852 Romanian citizens confirmed to be infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,934 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,018 in Germany, 159 in the UK, 36 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the US, 123 in Austria , 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 93 in Greece, 9 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 7 in the United Arab Emirates United and one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Republic of the Congo, Qatar, Vatican and Portugal. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 126 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of Congo and one in Greece, they have died.

Of the Romanian citizens confirmed as infected by the new coronavirus, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.

  • 5 deaths were recorded in the category 40-49 years
  • 6 deaths in the age group 50 to 59 years
  • 18 deaths in the age group 60-69 years
  • 28 deaths in the age group 70 to 79 years
  • 26 deaths in the category of over 80 years

81 of the deaths registered are of some patients who presented comorbidities, 1 deceased patient did not present comorbidities and for 1 deceased patient, no comorbidities have been reported to date.
