The chief executive said on Friday that the government was “far” from making a decision on a “total quarantine,” and stressed that in order to impose new restrictive measures, the authorities must have “extremely serious motives,” says Agerpres.
“We are facing an increase in the number of cases, we do not deny it. On the other hand, we have already thought about a set of measures related to this increase in the number of cases that we apply and we are implementing and analyzing the effects. (…) We will have to have very serious reasons to impose other restrictive measures, and what is said about total quarantine, we are far from such a decision (…) I say on every occasion that we can live normally, we can have few restrictive measures with one condition: that people comply with the health protection measures It is simple if people respect the health protection measures: they can go to work, they can go to the show, they can live a life as normal as possible, with one condition: compliance with the protection measures, ”Orban said, when asked what would be the threshold from which the new restrictions would be taken into account.
