He condemned the “unfounded attacks by USR members” against NLP county councilors, whom he described as “attempted manipulation.”
“As for the unfounded attacks by some members of the RSU against the NLP councilors, they do not honor those who claim they want change for the better in Vrancea. We need unity and trust, not unfounded attacks, based on speculation. Any attempt to manipulate people who do not know how things were in today’s ordinary meeting, a meeting in which the councilors of PNL, USR and PLUS showed unity and mutual trust, ”said Toma.

Marian Oprişan was appointed vice-president of the Vrancea County Council on Thursday, obtaining 17 votes out of 32 possible, while her opponent, USR Vrancea president Mihăiţă Lepădatu, obtained 15 votes. The second vice president of the Vrancea City Council was elected Ionel Cel-Mare, of ALDE Vrancea, who obtained 31 votes for this position.
Following the local elections on September 27, the PNL-USR-PLUS Alliance won 16 county councilman terms, PSD won 15 terms, and ALDE Vrancea won another two terms.
