Orban said Thursday night in Constanza that neither in the electoral campaign nor on the day of the voting exercise there will be problems if there will be social distancing and the mask will be used.

If all the candidate candidates and accompanying teams wear masks, stay away from people, speak from a reasonable distance, respect the maximum number of people at events, consider that we have reduced to 20 people indoors and a maximum of 50 people on air free, the maximum number of participants in electoral events ”, declared the prime minister, answering the question whether he considers postponing the date of the parliamentary elections under the conditions in which the number of cases of COVID-19 will increase.
Orban said that “compliance with the rules does not increase the risk of spreading the virus.”
According to him, on the day of the parliamentary vote, the same preventive measures will be taken as in local elections, the voting being similar for citizens, for example, by going to the pharmacy or any store.
“In addition, we organize the electoral day as we organize it in local elections, so that there is no risk of spreading the virus with the exercise of the right to vote by citizens. That doesn’t really exist. It is like going to the pharmacy to buy a medicine or going to a store, it is like going to the polls.
