Police agents specialized in the investigation of economic crimes carried out 10 searches, in Bucharest and Olt, in a case of fraud related to the development of a contract for the guarantee of objectives, goods and securities.

According to the sources, two searches are carried out at the headquarters of the CFR Marfă in the Capital, and a third at the home of Remus Rădoi, called Codiță. The contract was concluded between the state company and Rădoi’s security company, Safety Security.

On October 29, 2020, the police officers of the Directorate of Investigation of Economic Crimes and the Interventions and Special Actions Service of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police, under the supervision of the prosecutor of the Public Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Videle Court , conducted 10 house searches in Bucharest and Olt County, at the headquarters of a public institution and at the domicile and headquarters of several people.

The evidence administered shows that, in 2019, the representatives of a company, whose object of activity is the provision of security services, would have deceived the officials of a public institution.

The illicit activity would have been carried out as a result of a security contract for the objectives, goods and values ​​belonging to the public institution, by certifying the execution of the security service with a much larger number of security / exchange agents than in reality, in order to obtain an unfair equity benefit.

The investigation also showed that, with the complicity of an official within the public institution responsible for verifying the performance of the guarantee contract, falsified invoices were presented for settlement, by falsifying the deed, including a larger number. great hours worked.

The damage caused is approximately 1,640,000 lei

The police will execute 3 arrest warrants, issued in the name of the suspects, who will be heard at the headquarters of the Directorate for the Investigation of Economic Crimes.

The action is attended by police officers from the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police – Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes, as well as police officers with economic crime investigation powers from the Olt County Police Inspectorate, supported by teams from the Interventions and Special Actions Service.
