When asked at the Cotroceni Palace press conference if he is considering declaring a state of emergency during the winter holidays, Iohannis replied: “We did not argue, such an approach was not discussed. The measures taken, the restrictions in force are those that we know. (…) I don’t think winter holidays are this year like in other years. You will be able to travel to fewer places, there will be restrictions and I believe that this year we will return to what the Christmas holidays mean: it is a party in and with the family ”.
Klaus Iohannis reiterated at a press conference on Wednesday that a new total quarantine is not required at this time, as it was in the spring. At the same time, the president said that, at this time, we should not look for culprits, but solutions to prevent the spread of the disease.
