The election of Clotilde Armand to the Sector 1 City Council was definitely validated. The Bucharest Court rejected, as unfounded or lacking interest, the appeals of Daniel Tudorache and the 120 members of the PSD or close members of some employees of the Sector 1 City Council.

The full minutes of the judges can be read on the court portal.

Immediately after the decision was made, Clotilde Armand posted a message on Facebook

“A month after the local elections democratically won by me through the vote of the citizens of Sector 1, the Bucharest Court today rejected the 125 appeals presented by: the former PSD mayor, the current PSD councilors, their families and employees of Sector 1 City Council. Thus, my election to preside over Sector 1 City Council was definitively validated.

Now, the former mayor has to offer some explanations to prosecutors for the theft of public money in the last four years. Let it be very clear, every official and employee of the mayor’s office who has fired the PSD cannons all these years will pay before the Justice. Things will not stay that way. We have to rebuild and return a sector. No thief and no bureaucracy.
Dear citizens of Sector 1, today I am your mayor. We are starting the work! ”, Clotilde Armand writes.
