The increase in the number of patients in intensive care units is alarming, given that for a few weeks there has been talk of a crisis of places in these departments. Nationwide, there are 1,200 fully equipped beds to treat patients with severe coronavirus.

The cities of Timisoara and Baia Mare are on the red stage because the infection rate has exceeded 3 cases per thousand inhabitants.
That means new restrictions. Schools are closing, classes are moving online, and restaurants and cafes can no longer receive customers inside. It is also mandatory to wear a mask even in open spaces.
According to data provided this Sunday by the Strategic Communication Group, the city of Bucharest and the counties of Alba, Cluj, Harghita and Sălaj have the highest cumulative incidence of cases of infection by the new coronavirus calculated in the last 14 days per thousand population.
According to GCS, the cumulative incidence of new coronavirus infections is 3.69 in Alba; 3.35 in Bucharest; 3.33 in Cluj, 3.3 in Harghita and 3.01 in Sălaj.
An incidence of more than 2 per thousand inhabitants is recorded in the counties of Arad – 2.48, Bacău – 2.12, Bihor – 2.06, Braşov – 2.34, Covasna – 2.09, Dolj – 2, 17, Iaşi – 2.02, Mureş – 2.64, Sibiu – 2.29, Teleorman – 2.16, Timiş – 2.78 and Vâlcea – 2.16.
