A 32-year-old man died and two other people were injured in an accident that took place on Saturday night in the city of Năsăud, according to Mediafax.
According to IPJ Bistrița-Năsăud, the accident took place on Grănicerilor Boulevard in Năsăud. Two cars were involved in the accident.
One of the drivers, 32, died and two other people, a man and a woman, passengers in the same vehicle, were injured and taken to hospital.
“The other car involved was driven by a 19-year-old from Nepos, who was tested with the breathalyzer, the result was negative,” the Bistrița-Năsăud Police reported.
Traffic in the area where the accident occurred was blocked for about an hour and a half, and police diverted traffic onto alternate routes.
In this case, the investigations for wrongful death and wrongful bodily injury continue, and the circumstances in which the accident occurred will be established.
