Adrian Claudiu Prisnel’s post full of revolt, on Facebook. The USR deputy is deeply unhappy with a decision of the National Office and considers that the ruling forum discredits the USR Dolj by supporting Cezar Drăgoescu for the post of deputy mayor of Craiova. Prisnel describes Drăgoescu as “racist, xenophobic and homophobic” and considers the decision of the National RSU Office “inexplicable”.

Adrian Claudiu Prisnel: “The RSU National Office discredits USR Dolj by supporting a racist, xenophobic and homophobe for the post of Deputy Mayor of Craiova.

At the request of the president of PLUS Dolj, Gabriel Păunică, at today’s meeting, the National Office of the USR decided, in violation of the status and autonomy of the branches, to grant political support to Cezar Dragus for the post of deputy mayor of Craiova, against the decision of the USR Craiova of October 4.

The forum that provides political support to positions at the local level is expressly mentioned in the statute: according to art. 24 on. c, and the national office for national functions. In this sense, we will go to the National Arbitration Commission with an appeal against the decision of the National Bureau.

It is inexplicable to support the National Office for a member who a few days ago was invalidated by the National Office both for reasons of integrity and political opportunity.

Mr. Cezar Drăgoescu’s conduct and integrity problems brought USR constant image damage, being the subject of dozens of newspaper articles and the cause of many negative reactions from our supporters.

Contrary to the assertions of the majority coagulated around Dan Barna, Cezar Dragus’s racist and homophobic statements will put a stamp on USR, whatever position Mr. Dragus is supported for. We label ourselves racist and homophobic and risk losing the trust of the RSU electorate, in our county and beyond.

USR will not be credible in the eyes of the public by stating that this man was not honest enough to be a parliamentarian, but he is honest enough to be deputy mayor of Craiova.

We in Craiova are not second-class citizens.

I limit myself to the decision of the National Office of RSU and I hope that the National Office PLUS evaluates whether it is opportune for such a man to reach a public position with his support ”.
