Since midnightYou know, two towns in Cluj County have been in total quarantine. In one of the two communes, the incidence exceeds 13 cases per thousand inhabitants. In the other locality, severe restrictions were needed, after almost the entire town attended a baptism where, apparently, at least one of the the violinist was infected.
The quarantined localities are Săvădisla and Sic, which have very high infection rates. In Săvădisla – 8.72 per thousand inhabitants, and in Sic – 13.57.
A baptism party was held in Săvădisla and then 48 people who participated in this event, including violinists, were found to be infected with SARS-CoV-2. It seems that at least one of the violinists was already infected when he came to the party.
The quarantine measure of the two towns was ordered, as in the state of emergency – it will not be possible to enter and leave the town without a declaration under their own responsibility, and access will be allowed only to those who transport goods and food, products of health, who also works for elderly caregivers. The mask will be compulsory and the fines start from 500 lei. Those who will try to enter the town by detours run the risk of a criminal case to thwart the fight against the disease.
Starting Saturday, three more towns in Cluj County entered the red stage: Câmpia Turzii, Feleacu and Mica. The city of Cluj-Napoca is already in this scenario.
Cluj County as a whole has exceeded the infection rate of 3,000 per thousand, along with Alba and Harghita County, as well as Bucharest.
