The members of the USR who won the mayoralties of the big cities do not seem to have luck at the time of taking office. If Nicușor Dan announced that he has dozens of appeals in court regarding the validation of his mandate in the capital City Council, the same happened to the elected mayor of Timișoara, Dominic Fritz.

The judges validated Fritz’s mandate on October 15, and the investiture should have taken place on October 27, but its validation has reached the court, so he will be tried in the Timiș Court, according to deBanat.ro.
Negotiations between USR and PNL for the posts of Deputy Mayor of Timi tenoara and Vice President of Timi vice County Council failed for incredible reasons. Alin Nica, leader of the NLP Timiș and president-elect of the Timiș County Council, and Dominic Fritz, elected mayor of Timișoara, could not agree on the division of key positions in the administration. But the reason is independent of the two. The architect of the PSD Timiș games is Dănuț Groza, the mayor of Sânnicolau Mare, a pedel player with former states who appears to lead the de facto organization NLP in Timiș.
Groza struck the masses by demanding that the PNL receive both positions of vice president of the Timiș Provincial Council, although the initial agreement provided that the positions would be filled by Alexandru Preoteasa, PNL, Alin Nica’s man, and Cristian Moș, USR candidate for the leadership of the Timiș County Council. Basically, Groza managed, in the last hundred meters, to impose on the Timiș County Council his henchman, Marius Hitiaș, for whom he now wants the post of Vice President of the Timiș County Council. Thus, Groza decided that PNL Timiș, led in the role by Alin Nica, would renounce the claims of having a deputy mayor and apply for both vice-president positions from CJ Timiș, which turned out to be to the liking of the USR, so the negotiations They failed, and USR quickly became threats, explaining that an alliance with PSD or PRO Romania is not excluded in the Timi notoara City Council.
