The government will adopt an emergency ordinance on Thursday that will allow COVID-19 patients without comorbidities and asymptomatic to be treated at home, under the supervision of family doctors, according to Health Minister Nelu Tataru. He says patients will be “followed by law enforcement” so they don’t leave and spread the disease.
Asked on Wednesday, in Cluj, what will happen to asymptomatic people who will no longer be hospitalized and who will not even follow the rules, Nelu Tătaru replied: “Tomorrow we have in the Government a meeting of an emergency ordinance that modifies Law 136 in the that asymptomatic and symptomatic without comorbidities will be treated at home under the supervision of family doctors. Once they are monitored by family doctors, the second time they will be evaluated and followed by the forces of order to be able to stay at home and be able to do their treatment, but also to protect others ”.
He also said that no further action is required at this time regarding the incidence of COVID-19 and that each county emergency committee takes action based on the local illness rate.
