It’s a scandal in the PSD, after the disgraced “baron” of Vrancea, Marian Oprișan, staged a real coup on Tuesday. He did not take into account the decisions of his party leader and, although he is no longer the leader of the local organization, he called a meeting and topped the list of candidates for the Senate. In addition, a new leader of the PSD Vrancea organization was voted “unanimously” at the meeting, although Marcel Ciolacu, the party chairman, had appointed Angel Tîlvăr to head the county branch on Tuesday. However, he was removed from his post and replaced by another, Vasile Carnariu.
Marcel Ciolacu reproached Marian Oprișan for losing the elections in the region because she insisted on running for the leadership of the Diputación. As a result, he assumed the position of president of the Vrancea organization and assumed the position of interim president. Furthermore, the PSD leader told Oprișan that the party will win over MPs in the county without their contribution. On Tuesday, the PSD leadership decided that the vice president of the Vrancea organization, Anghel Tîlvăr, would take over as president on an interim basis.
However, the PSD Vrancea organization announced, in a statement Tuesday evening, that it had nominated its candidates for the parliamentary elections, during a meeting that took place at PSD Vrancea headquarters, but also online. Marian Oprișan occupies the first place in the Senate, which, according to the statement, was proposed “unanimously” by the members of the Provincial Political Council.
After the convocation of more than a third of the members of the PSD Vrancea Provincial Political Council (CPJ), made up of presidents of organizations, mayors, councilors and parliamentarians, the CJP debated in the presence of more than 150 members who participated both, as well as in line, several draft decisions. Among other things, the draft decision on the establishment of candidates for the parliamentary elections of December 6 by PSD Vrancea was included on the agenda. The meeting was chaired by Nicușor Halici, Vice President of the PSD Vrancea organization, and after discussions, consultations and the vote of CPJ PSD Vrancea members, the following list of candidates was established:

The following draft decisions were also included in the agenda, which were adopted unanimously by vote, the statement details:
