The Chief of Police of the Old Center, Chief Commissioner Cristian Ghica, will be removed from his position. He accuses, in a message redistributed in a WhatsApp group, that the reason for the change of position is “the refusal to put the police at the feet of businessmen who pay bribes.”

The police officers subordinate to Cristian Ghica are the ones who fined PSD deputies Adrian Solomon and Irinel Stativa in early July after they refused to wear a mask in a fast food restaurant in sector 3 and caused a scandal.
