Zegrean also presented his candidacy for the position of president of the Official Evidence Section of Legislation and Documentation within the Legislative Council. George Edward Dircă and Ciochiu Andrei also applied for this position.

Parliament will meet on Tuesday afternoon to appoint the president of the Legislative Council.

Florin Iordache presented his candidacy for the position of President of the Legislative Council on Tuesday. Sources within the PSD told HotNews.ro that the party offered Florin Iordache the leadership of CL as a consolation prize after he was no longer on the PSD list in the Chamber of Deputies.

We remind you that Florin Iordache was Minister of Justice and author of Ordinance 13 that modifies the laws of justice in favor of Liviu Dragnea. Ordinance 13 brought Romanians to the streets in January 2017 and determined their replacement at the head of the ministry. In Parliament, at the request of Dragnea, Iordache continued the assault on the laws of justice.
