Covid-19 balance sheet. Romania’s county that reported only two new coronavirus cases

Brașov again registers an explosion of new cases of coronavirus, occupying second place, after the Capital, in the number of infections reported in the last 24 hours. Two other counties have more than 100 new diseases, according to the Strategic Communication Group. The surprise comes from Covasna, where only two cases have been reported.

Therefore, the GCS report shows that Brașov County has 139 new Covid-19 cases reported in the last 24 hours, while Iași and Prahova have 125 new diseases. Bucharest remains at the top of the ranking in the number of daily infections, with another 581 cases and an infection rate of 3.19 per thousand inhabitants. At the other extreme, Covasna county has only two infections, and Bistrița-Năsăud and Caraș-Severin counties have not reported any illness from the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

To date, on October 19, in Romania, 182,854 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.
132,082 patients were declared cured.

Counties with more than 100 new cases reported in the last 24 hours:

  • Bucharest – 581 new cases
  • Brașov – 139 new cases
  • Iasi – 125 new cases
  • Prahova – 150 new cases

After the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, there were 2,466 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19), these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.
