The case of the mayor of Sibiu, solved by lawyer Klaus Iohannis

[ad_1]

Incompetent and inexperienced people work at the Sibiu Court. This verdict was given by Astrid Fodor, the re-elected but invalidated mayor of Sibiu, the heir to the chair in which Klaus Iohannis sat until she moved to the Cotroceni chair.

The mayors of Sibiu know the law much better than the judges of Sibiu, as Astrid Fodor says: “Yes, today (Friday – no) I spoke with the president (Klaus Iohannis – no). A short conversation. The president was at the European Council in Brussels, but we briefly discussed this situation. Of course, the president encouraged me. The president is very familiar with the legislation and is convinced that what the law says will be taken into account. We are only discussing the same thing: the application of the law. Yes, I called him. Of course I hope to win. I can’t believe this continues in the Sibiu Court. In the Sibiu Court there are judges with more experience, competent and I have full confidence that they will rely on the documents that we are going to submit to the file.

Ms Fodor’s statements put the Sibiu District Court in an unfavorable light and at the same time put pressure on the Sibiu Court judges, judges who should allow her to be appointed mayor, which she won in the September 27 elections. . As a lawyer, according to Mrs. Fodor’s statements, there is Klaus Iohannis. And which court would be allowed to contradict the President of Romania, known for being the number one defender of the rule of law, right?

So, it must be borne in mind that with regard to the incompatibility found by ANI in the case of Mrs. Fodor, someone with experience in the matter speaks out, Klaus Iohannis himself is going through a process of incompatibility. The lawsuit he won, the victory in court allowed him to occupy the highest position in the state. The verdict of the High Court of Cassation and Justice in the Iohannis case came in January 2015, after the mayor of Sibiu won the presidential elections, but that’s another story. Like another story is the one in which President Klaus Iohannis appointed HCCJ President Livia Stanciu as a Constitutional Court judge, her term began in 2016 with a 9-year term.

The statements made by Astrid Fodor after the dialogue with the President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, will have the gift of determining the judges of the Sibiu Court to demonstrate their experience and competence over those re-elected, in order not to disappoint the defender number 1 of the rule of law, but also so as not to upset the Sibiu voters who voted for Mr. Iohannis’ heir.

Good luck on your new mayoral term, Ms. Astrid Fodor!
