In Bucharest and 16 other counties, there is an incidence rate of more than 1.5 per thousand inhabitants, according to the Strategic Communication Group. Of these, six counties have an infection rate of more than two per thousand inhabitants.

The counties where the rate is higher than 1.5 are: Alba, Arad; Bacău, Brașov, Bucharest, Cluj, Harghita, Iași, Ilfov, Mureș, Neamț, Prahova, Sălaj, Teleorman, Timiș, Vâlcea and Vaslui.

The highest rate is recorded in Bucharest and the lowest in Argeș county. In the last 24 hours in Bucharest, 592 people were reported infected with coronavirus.

According to GCS, the coefficient of accumulated infections at 14 days, reported per 1,000 inhabitants, is above the threshold of 1.5 in:

* Alba – 2.56

* Arad – 1.66

* Bacău – 2.13

* Brasov – 1.69

* Cluj – 2.24

* Harghita – 1.92

* Iasi 1.76

* Ilfov – 1.54

* Mureş – 1.60
