List of areas most severely affected by COVID-19. Explosion of cases in the Capital and 16 counties

Romania registered on Friday, October 16, 2020, no less than 4,026 new cases. Most of them were registered in Bucharest and in 16 counties of the country.

According to the data transmitted by the Strategic Communication Group, 692 new cases were registered in the Capital.

There is also a serious situation in Cluj county (267), the worst affected county in Romania.

The other counties where the number of new cases exceeds 100 are: Alba (121), Bacau (153), Bihor (106), Brasov (116), Dolj (133), Harghita (119), Iasi (176) , Maramures (116), Mures (116), Neamt (110), Satu Mare (145), Sibiu (134), Suceava (133), Teleroman (126) and Timis (147)
