FCSB fined for xenophobic chants after the Romanian Cup final

The incident for which FCSB and the three footballers were fined came immediately after winning the Romanian Cup last season.

At the club’s base in Berceni, the players were awaited by a group of fans, who they counted on, according to a statement issued by Sepsi, demonstrations of “anti-Hungarian and xenophobic”.

The fine for those spent after the final of the Romanian Cup is the second received by FCSB in just two days. On October 14, the Disciplinary Committee announced the club’s 3,000 lei sanction for organizational problems in the match with Dinamo. Also, in the same match, physical trainer Thomas Neubert was fined 4,500 lei and suspended two games.
